The evidence is clear. The gap is funding.

Fifty years of peer-reviewed research shows that art positively impacts Welness in hospital patients. Active Art delivers that - through original paintings, human stories, and technology that costs nothing to run.

What philanthropy provides is reach.

We all have the ability to bring light into someone else’s darkness.

We come from different backgrounds, but we share a common drive to reflect love back into the world and help people feel seen, heard, and connected.

"We want someone who can have faith in what we are doing and understand why we are doing it’’.

This is frontier work in art and healing.

We believe in this idea, MGB believe in this idea, we know it will grow, and we are moving forward with it. The right people are out there, further support would help us turn what we have already learned into broader reach, scale and impact. The right people are out there, further support would help us turn what we have already learned into broader reach, scale and impact.

All people. All types of Institutions.

The final room became more than a mural, it became a collaborative narrative shaped by Bruins history, hospital staff, kids, families, and my own work. At the ribbon cutting, Bruins leadership saw the impact of that firsthand. The mural gave them a way to feel the healing effect of the room without needing to be patients themselves. That kind of emotional, immersive response shows how organizations like the Bruins can help bring this work to a larger audience.

A Transformative Collaboration

The Bruins Case Study

The Bruins came to Mass General and said they wanted to fund a chemotherapy room in pediatric oncology and wanted a Bruins mural on the wall. Mass General connected them with Jonathan.

He decided to create the room like an old-time locker room, with retired players, jerseys, and equipment. Because the Stanley Cup image required licensing, he creatively invented a 'Stan Lee water cup' with a Bruins logo instead.

The mural had to be removable in case the room was later repurposed, so he developed a way to install it in large painted panels that could come off the wall. Three parts of it could be scanned, telling stories about the Bruins and about teamwork in treatment.

Case Study ·The Bruins Mural

A paediatric oncology room - turned into a Bruins locker room.

On opening day, when the Bruins leadership saw it at the ribbon-cutting, they were blown away.

Then a 12-year-old girl in a Bruins sweatshirt walked into the room, smiling with amazement, and that moment said everything. It was more than a painting—it transformed the room and gave joy.

I see the parents with the big smiles on their faces. I see the hugs. I see the joy.

‘’A 20 minute conversation’’

The right people are out there - If that's you, we'd love to hear from you.

You are not just investing in a product — you are investing in an exceptional group of people. I feel lucky to work with Paul, who has become part of my life and family, and with my mom, Susan, who after losing my dad founded a nonprofit, won awards, and has remained one of the strongest, kindest people I know.
