Improve how your patients feel - measurably.
Active Art is the lightest-touch, highest-impact wellbeing experience layer available to Hospitals today. Always on. Zero friction. Tied directly to Patient Wellbeing.
Hospitals work miracles everyday.
But, when you are at the hospital for any reason and sitting with family or alone, looking at four blank walls while waiting for a report, a test result, or a treatment plan, it gives you a lot to think about.
✦ The art on the wall has the answer. It just needs a voice. ✦
Enable your patients, who may
feel alone, to realise
they are not.
Art on the wall. Stories one scan away. Zero disruption to clinical workflow — for every patient, every shift.
Zero clinical workflow disruption. The art is on the wall, and the story is one phone scan away — for every patient, every visitor, every shift, 24 hours a day.
A simple scan validates what patients are going through and helps them build stepping stones through treatment — making them more receptive to doctors, more at peace. Staff feel it too: receptionists, nurses, doctors, and researchers who walk those halls every day.
WHO arts-in-health data shows a 0.5–1.5 HCAHPS point lift typical from arts programmes. Active Art is the most scalable joy delivery mechanism on the market. Even one brief moment with a painting can reground and reconnect.

The final room became more than a mural, it became a collaborative narrative shaped by Bruins history, hospital staff, kids, families, and my own work.
At the ribbon cutting, Bruins leadership saw the impact of that firsthand. The mural gave them a way to feel the healing effect of the room without needing to be patients themselves.
That kind of emotional, immersive response shows how organizations like the Bruins can help bring this work to a larger audience.

The bad news room became the good news room.
Over the last six years Jonathan donated 30-40 original paintings to MGH, transforming oncology, rooms, functional corridors, waiting areas, and a Fenway Park panel on the eighth floor into a continuous, story-led gallery. Patients lingered and are relieved. Families take photos and share them. Nurses began telling their own stories about the work. What started small has now became infrastructure for joy.
The Bruins Mural
A paediatric oncology room - turned into a Bruins locker room.
Built with the Boston Bruins Foundation. On opening day, a twelve-year-old in a Bruins sweatshirt walked in, looked up, and smiled — despite everything she was going through. “I see the tears. I see the parents with the big smiles on their faces. I see the hugs. I see the joy.
